Ash, one of ten bands announced this week for Indiependence 2015.

The first ten acts have been announced for this year’s Indiependence Music & Arts festival which celebrates its 10 anniversary in Mitchelstown this year. They include Ash, The Dandy Warhols and Gavin James. The festival will take place as per usual on the August Bank Holiday weekend at the Deer Farm in Mitchelstown from Friday, July 31st to Sunday August 2nd.

Ash, the Northern Ireland-based alternative Rock band,  used Ash Wednesday of this year to announce that their new album soon to be released would be titled Kablammo! and that the first single released from it would be called 'Cocoon'.

The other seven acts are Jape, Mark Lanegan Band, Gavin James, Wyvern Lingo, Little Hours, The Flaws, The North Sea and Admiral Fallow. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets ranging from €99 to €119 have already gone on sale and can be had from www.tickets.ie and locally at Mitchelstown Post Office.
