A recently registered website, bearing a domain for the Grand Hotel in Fermoy, states that the hotel is “coming soon (again) to Fermoy”.
The new website domain (www.thegrandhotel.ie) pictures the majestic Fermoy building in a relatively recent drone image, with the address ‘Ashe Quay, Fermoy, Co Cork, Ireland’ followed by the Eircode. While no further detail is offered on the website, search engines detail the ‘boutique hotel’ in Fermoy.
The Avondhu understands that earlier this month, the sale of the Grand Hotel building was at an advanced stage. The new website domain was registered via godaddy.com in mid-April, however, details obtained by The Avondhu show the registrant’s name ‘redacted for privacy’.
