An open invitation is being extended to the public this weekend for an eagerly anticipated relaunch of Fermoy’s Farmers’ Market.
The market, situated in the grounds of historic, Richmond House, takes place on Saturday next, 14th August (10am to 2pm). Admission is free.
The brainchild of Fiachra and Debbie O Cinneide, the market already has a core group of dedicated stallholders. The intention is to increase the market’s appeal, made it more family friendly and community focused.
Speaking to The Avondhu this week, Fiachra said the market model was sound, but there was scope for improvement.
