
Fermoy made a welcome ‘bounce back’ according to the latest Irish Business Against Litter (IBAL) report, being ranked in the ‘Clean to European Norms’ category once again.
The latest report, issued on Monday, January 5, saw the town placing 21st on the list, climbing the leaderboard after a disappointing result back in June that saw the town place 32nd out of 40 towns ranked, and falling within the ‘moderately littered’ category.
Paul Kavanagh of Fermoy TidyTowns, said that they group were glad on hearing the improved marking.
