Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s in connection with an incident of ‘aggravated burglary’ at a premises in Fermoy.
Following the incident, gardaí, assisted by the Armed Support Unit (ASU), gained access to a property in an estate off College Road in Fermoy, allegedly breaking down the door with force. Footage has circulated online and it is understood that scenes of the ASU at the residential property followed an attempted arrest on Thursday, January 22nd.
It is understood that a man sustained serious injuries during the aggravated burglary.
