Discover the Healing Power of Reflexology

Our feet are often one of the most neglected and forgotten parts of us. They are furthest from our head, and often furthest from our mind, and yet, they can offer such a beautiful gateway into deep rest, balance and wellbeing.

I first fell in love with reflexology when I worked in the corporate world. At the time, I used it as a way to release stress, restore balance and come back to myself. I loved the benefits it provided so much that I eventually decided to train in reflexology myself.

That journey led me to leave a 25-year career and open my own business 12 years ago, and since then I have had the privilege of sharing this deeply relaxing, healing, non-invasive treatment with so many clients. Reflexology is a beautiful therapy because all you need to remove is your footwear. Once you are comfortable on the treatment bed, you can simply lie back, relax and allow your body to soften and your mind to quieten. You do not have to move another inch unless you want to.

Through gentle, focused touch on the feet, I guide you through a deeply calming experience that supports you physically, emotionally and mentally. Many people arrive feeling stressed, tired or overwhelmed, and leave feeling lighter, calmer and more deeply connected to themselves. Some people worry that reflexology might be ticklish, or that they won’t like having their feet touched. But they are often pleasantly surprised by how soothing and relaxing the treatment feels.

Over the years, I have worked with clients of all ages, from the very young to the very old, and everyone in between. Because I love this treatment so much, I also went on to complete specialist training in fertility, maternity and cancer care reflexology. The touch and technique can always be adapted to suit each person’s needs.

If you already love reflexology, I would love to welcome you to my treatment room in Kilworth. And if you have never tried it before, maybe this is your sign to give it a go. It is one of the most gentle and nurturing treatments you can experience, and I can honestly say I have never met anyone who regretted taking time out for a reflexology session. And as an added bonus, if you have health insurance and your policy includes reflexology, you will be able to claim back a portion of your treatment cost.
