In less than a month, cousins Áine and Úna O’Brien from Coolagown will take part in the annual Jailbreak Race competing alongside 100 other teams.
Áine and Úna, who attend UCC and CIT, will have 36 hours to travel to a mystery location somewhere in the world without spending any of their own money.
This year, the students have set an ambitious target to raise €60,000.
Throughout their travels, Áine and Úna will be highlighting the work of Amnesty International and the Society of St Vincent de Paul which seeks to protect the human rights of people in Ireland and around the world.
