Coláiste’s principal stepping down after 35 years in Carraig

After 35 years at Coláiste an Chroí Naofa, principal Colm Ó Corcora has announced his decision to step down and will be leaving his role at the helm of the Carraig na bhFear secondary school at the end of August.

Announcing the news in the most recent school newsletter, Mr Ó Corcora said he has informed the relevant persons of his decision.

“I wish to let you know that after 35 happy years at the College, I have decided to call it a day and have informed the Board of Management and CEIST, our school trust, of my intention to retire at the end of August. They will now begin the process of finding my replacement which should be completed by the end of June,” he said.
