A Christmas evening in aid of 5 year old Fionn Doyle from Kildorrery is set to take place in The Village Inn, Kilworth this Friday, December 16th.
Organised by friends of his parents Eimear and Jack, funds raised on the day will go to support the family in their ongoing battle with brave Fionn, who is receiving treatment for leukaemia.
Following a prolonged battle with the disease in his young life, battling leukaemia for three and a half years, Fionn has had a cancer relapse and is once again currently undergoing treatment at Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin.
Many readers of The Avondhu will be aware of Fionn’s plight, with numerous fundraisers being well supported in recent times, whether it be through quiz nights, cake sales, etc.
Once again, your support is being sought, where the festive season will be celebrated with mince pies and mulled wine. All support this Friday in Kilworth would be greatly appreciated, from 3-6pm and from 7pm till late.
