Following on from concerns from residents living near Ballinahown Cross in Fermoy, road markings are to be put in place and a lough of water, which has built up during the recent heavy rain, is to be removed.
Cllr Noel McCarthy said that a lot of residents use this road and that it is quite busy. He welcomes the news that markings are to be put in and said that drainage works are to be carried out in due course, to prevent the water building up again during heavy rainfall.
