A Mass of Thanksgiving and a celebration marking the legacy of Presentation Primary School in Fermoy was held on Friday last, June 12th.
The celebratory event was held in advance of the merging of the local school with Bishop Murphy Memorial School, which for next school term will become Holy Family Primary School.
In existence since 1838, the girls school has a long history in Fermoy, and several nuns from the Presentation Order were in attendance last Friday, including past teachers and principals.
