Local churches benefit from heritage funding

Local heritage projects have received funding allocations, with 127 projects across the country supported with grant allocations under the Heritage Council’s Community Heritage Grant Scheme.

Funding of €25,000 was allocated towards Christ Church in Fermoy for a Conservation Management Plan,  which the local committee said  they are ‘very grateful’ for.

“Christ Church Community Project’s Committee is very grateful that funding has been awarded under a recent Heritage grant for a Conservation Management Plan on Christ Church, Fermoy’s building by experts in that field,” a spokesperson said.
