In conjunction with their 50th anniversary celebrations, Fermoy Credit Union have made a donation of €27,000 to the Fermoy Christmas Lights fund, meaning the town will be lit up like never before in 2015.

The lights will be officially switched on in early December and, with the extra funding available for both the upgrade of existing lights and the provision of new lights, Fermoy is expected to be looking its best over the festive period.
