Issues with Fermoy’s public toilets persist as in recent weeks, it was noted that one of the toilets was bolted shut.
The gentlemen’s toilets, located on Ashe Quay, now have a piece of metal bolted into the entrance door, preventing users from opening it. In a statement to The Avondhu, Cork County Council outlined the reason for the closure.
“A section of the public toilets in Fermoy are closed due to damage caused by vandalism,” a spokesperson said.
