Normally, the first name out is declared the winner but with regard to the Cavanagh's of Fermoy league winners' draw, it pays to come last!
Of the 18 names (representing 6 clubs) in the drum for last Friday night's draw, the final one to be drawn was Sheena Hanrahan from Fermoy.
This scenario ensured Sheena became the proud owner of a new Ford Fiesta. Sheena, who represented Grange GAA couldn't quite believe her luck.
