Ruairc Donovan from Fermoy got the birthday present of a lifetime last week when he got the chance to meet all the Everton team at his first ever match at Goodison Park in Liverpool.
Not only that, but Ruairc was treated like a true VIP getting a chance to meet the manager Marco Silva, getting to stand pitch-side for the warm-up, being interviewed for Everton TV and returning home with signed jerseys, a signed soccer ball and a pair of Seamus Coleman’s football boots as well as a treasure trove of memories that will last him a lifetime.
Ruairc’s parents decided to surprise him for his 11th birthday by buying him tickets to see his first ever Everton game on January 13 and from there, the experience of a lifetime was about to unfold.
