Mitchelstown indie duo Honeycomb, have arrived home from their first major run of overseas gigs after spending a week performing in Nice, France.
The band, made up of Jamie O’Connor and Michael Hennessey, flew out on July 6 and played nightly from July 7 until July 12 at Ma Nolan’s Irish Pub, a well-established family-owned pub in Nice.
The opportunity came about through a Cork-based agent who books acts for the venue and was familiar with Honeycomb’s work.
