Kilworth natives Brendan Walsh and Eleanor O’Gorman took silver and bronze respectively at the World Tag Rugby Games in Limerick at the weekend.
The games ran from Tuesday until Saturday at the UL grounds.
Brendan, son of Willie and Leish Walsh (New Road) and Eleanor, daughter of Philip and Mary O’Gorman (Ballinrush), were among 2,000 of the world’s best tag rugby players competing for medals across men’s, women’s, mixed and senior categories at the University of Limerick.
