Lady luck has spread her good graces on the region, as in recent weeks winning lottery tickets have been sold in Ballylanders and Galbally in Limerick, and also in The Favourite and Scullery in Mitchelstown.
In a mid-December draw, a prize of €102,027 was won by someone who bought a ticket from The Favourite and Scullery on Lower Cork Street in Mitchelstown in a Wednesday Lotto draw, while in nearby Galbally, a winning Lotto ticket worth €22,600, was sold in Cummins Daybreak.; the draw for the prize took place on Christmas Eve.
A lottery spokesperson confirmed to The Avondhu that both prizes have been claimed in the last fortnight.
