Barranafaddock Sustainable Electricity Ltd have lodged an application for retention with Waterford City and County Council.
It is for the windfarm which lies between Ballyduff and Araglin andwhich has been the subject of much controversy in recent years due to the fact that the dimensions of the turbines’ blades exceed the details of the original planning permission.
Back in August, An Bord Pleanala refused and application made by Barranafaddock Sustainable Electricity Limited to apply for leave to apply for substitute consent for their windfarm.
