Retired Garda John Curtin is a native of Kildorrery, who spent his early days policing in Tramore, Portlaw and Waterford City.
He enjoyed his time in these locations and made many friends, however, it was a move to the south Limerick village of Ballylanders that was to have biggest impact on his career.
Indeed, John would go on to serve the people of Ballylanders, Glenbrohane and beyond for 26 years.
