Saturday last saw a very successful community clean-up of Kilworth and its surrounds.
About 100 people took part in a well organised and publicised event, orchestrated by Kilworth Tidy Towns, Cork County Council litter office, Coillte and the Defence Forces.
All clubs in Kilworth did their bit too by spreading the word and in some cases, changing fixtures to facilitate the event.
