
Last weekend was one of the biggest occasions of the year for handball followers, as players and supporters headed for handball HQ in Kingscourt, Co Cavan for the 40 x 20 singles and doubles finals.
With only the best of the best left standing, the competition was fierce as players went in search of All-Ireland glory.
The good news for Cork, Kilworth and more particuarly Kilworth Handball Club, is that Muireann O'Brien and her partner, Celine Kelleher from Boherbue, turned in a fantastic performance to claim the girls' U15 All-Ireland doubles title.
The victory was just reward for this talented duo who have been in great form all year.
