Off-licences and pubs were targeted by Gardaí in the Fermoy district on Friday last as they looked to catch businesses who were selling alcohol to underage teenagers.
In order to uncover who was not complying with the law in this area, Gardaí carried out a ‘test purchasing of alcohol.’
According to Gardaí, this test involves a person under the legal age limit entering off-licences and pubs and attempting to purchase alcohol.
