Transition Year student Leah Nolan from Kilworth continued her winning streak at this year’s BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) on Friday, as she came home with two awards.
Leah’s project, entitled ‘Vaping Under The Influence: An investigation into the impact of social media on adolescent attitudes towards vaping’, was the culmination of months and months of work which was recognised by judges at BTYSTE 2023.
Her efforts saw her take home the Special Award from the Health Research Board, as well as the first-place Intermediate Individual award in the Social and Behavioural Sciences Category.
