The Part 8 planning notice for the Georgian Quarter development in Mitchelstown has been made public, revealing the council’s proposals for New Market Square, Kings Street, George’s Street and Kings Square.
In general, new street furniture, signs, improved public lighting and the removal of overhead lines is proposed for the whole area, with some other specific proposals made for each of the four named areas.
It has been determined that an Environmental Impact Assessment is not required for this project.
