Tina Satchwell – arrested man released without charge

A man in his 50s was arrested on Tuesday evening and 24 hours later, was released without charge as the investigation into the disappearance of Fermoy native, Tina Satchwell, has been upgraded to murder.

Gardaí have stated that they are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding her disappearance over 6 years ago.  

On Tuesday evening, Gardaí had sealed off a residence on Grattan Street in Youghal, the town where Tina Satchwell had been living at the time of her disappearance, and a technical examination commenced by the Garda Technical Bureau.
