Thrilling weekend of rallying

The roads of east Cork was the setting for this year’s O’Connell Group Cork ’20’ International Rally – the penultimate round the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship.

At the end of 15 exciting stages, Callum Devine (Derry) and his co-driver, Noel O’Sullivan (Kerry) emerged victorious. 

The base for the rally was Corrin Event Centre (Fermoy livestock mart) with this spacious location playing host to drivers and their support crews. The public were allowed access the site and there was a steady flow of visitors over the two days.

Hundreds of rally fans got a close up of very powerful cars and the technical back up that keeps them on the road.
