Special guest at last Friday’s 50th anniversary celebrations at Tallow Credit Union was Charles Murphy, President of the Irish League of Credit Unions.
Congratulating all concerned, Mr. Murphy said that Tallow reflected all that was good about regional credit unions.
Branch manager, Patrick Myers was in attendance to greet the public and help present prizes in the Tallow Credit Union poster competition.
Speaking to The Avondhu, Mr. Myers said the event had been a great success and from feedback he was continuing to receive, it was obvious that locals took great pride in their credit union.
