Parents of children attending Scoil Bhríde in Rathcormac were faced with the difficult decision of whether or not so send children to school this week amidst news of a Covid-19 outbreak.
A letter sent to parents warned that the Covid situation within the school had ‘deteriorated significantly’ and that despite best efforts, the school was ‘amidst a serious outbreak’.
“We now have cases at every class level and among school staff,” the letter read.
Delays and difficulties of outlining an exact number of cases at the time were also highlighted due to the cyberattack on the HSE’s IT system …
