A proposed development of 336 residential units for Fermoy town, has been denied permission by An Coimisiún Pleanála.
The application, submitted last year for the Coolcarron area of Fermoy, referred to a site off the Cork Road, located to the south of St Colman’s Sports Campus and to the rear of the Texaco service station and Cavanagh’s.
Under the Strategic Housing Application, Cumnor Construction Ltd sought the development of 242 houses, 94 apartments and a creche.
