Eight apartments in Fermoy were opened this week, accessed from the town’s Library Car Park, by Peter McVerry Trust and Cork County Council.
The complex houses 15 people who were on the social housing list, including those who were homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
It is understood that the apartments will host a mix of families and single people.
