The announcement by Quest Software that it is to establish a new Centre for Advanced AI Architecture in Cork, bringing significant new investment and high-quality jobs to the region, has been welcomed by Cork Chamber.

This development represents a strong endorsement of Cork as a leading location for innovation, talent and technology-driven enterprise.

“Quest Software’s decision to grow its footprint in Cork is a strong vote of confidence in the region’s capabilities and the calibre of talent available here, and demonstrates the positive impact of effective partnership with IDA Ireland,” Cork Chamber CEO Conor Healy said. “This new AI centre reflects the growing strength of Cork’s innovation landscape and reinforces our reputation as a location where global companies can advance cutting-edge research and development.

“As we close out 2025, this announcement is a very positive signal for the year ahead. With continued investment in enabling infrastructure and housing, as well as skills development through the region’s world-class education and research institutions, Cork is well positioned to support further expansion of high-value industries into 2026 and beyond. The new roles associated with this project will contribute meaningfully to the local economy and underline the long-term benefits of sustained investment in the region.

“Strengthening the talent pipeline is essential to maintaining our competitive edge. Quest’s commitment to working with Irish universities will support the development of future-focused skills and deepen the region’s expertise in areas that are central to Europe’s digital and technological ambitions,” he concluded.
