A €2m sustainable LED lighting upgrade at Croke Park, which will debut in September at the NFL International Series game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings, will be brought to fruition by a Mallow-based second-generation family business, partnering with Musco Lighting.
Electrical engineering contractor, McSherry Electrical, based in Mallow, has grown exponentially in recent years and now employs 80 staff. Specialising in high-performance installations across the commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors, the company has built up a strong portfolio of stadium and large-scale projects.
The landmark LED Croke Park project, will replace the stadium’s original 2007 incandescent system with a custom-engineered solution offering superior energy efficiency, broadcast-quality lighting and reduced maintenance.
