Lots of positivity at CBS open night

There was huge interest in last Thursday’s open night at Mitchelstown CBS. Staff, teachers and students were ready and waiting for the visitors who availed of an opportunity to learn more about this progressive school.

Prior to the principal’s address, there was plenty time to visit classrooms and see at first hand the excellent facilities available to students. These facilities include: science laboratories, computers, design and communication graphics hub, library, woodwork area and food science room. 

A LOT GOING ON

A key message was that a lot goes on in the school and that pupils are introduced to a variety of interests, such as: social education, food science, languages, horticulture, accounting, safety courses, formation of mini-companies and first aid.
