Bumper crowds generated a great atmosphere in Mitchelstown over the August bank holiday weekend, with the 2017 edition of the Indiependence Music & Arts Festival proving another resounding success.
While the weather may have threatened at times to spoil to occasion, festival-goers were well prepared for any eventuality and in the main, the weather Gods mostly complied. Top names such as Manic Street Preachers, Tom Odell, The Coronas, Sigma (DJ) and Wild Beasts lived up to the occasion and rocked the 10,000 plus crowd over the 3-day festival.
