Country and Irish music fans flocked to Fitzgerald Park, Fermoy last Sunday for Fermoy Goes Country 2025. Now firmly established on the entertainment calendar, this Fermoy GAA fundraiser proved a resounding success.
A considerable undertaking for the host club, volunteers were helped by very favourable weather. In near perfect conditions, patrons were treated to 6 hours of music from artists such as: Michael English, Effie Neill, Olivia Douglas, Derek Ryan and Patrick Feeney. The backing band comprised members of The Conquerors.
BIG DANCING CROWD
A feature of the afternoon was the presence of so many dancers, with all ages taking to the spacious stage that was situated in front of the main stage.
