A lifelong dream finally came true for Geraldine Gubbins after she and daughter Sandie got to meet her idol Cliff Richard before the world-famous singer’s concert at The Marquee in Cork last week.
Geraldine, who has been a massive fan of ‘Sir Cliff’ since childhood, was the lucky recipient of two ‘meet and greet’ tickets after her daughter Sandie, entered a radio competition with C103 explaining just how much her mam loved the music stalwart.
“I just couldn’t believe it,” said Geraldine. “It was a dream come true. It was the sixth time I have been to see Cliff in concert but to actually meet him was very special …”
