Galbally-based councillor Eddie Ryan, has confirmed that he will be putting his name forward to seek the Fianna Fail nomination in the next general election alongside Niall Collins.
Fianna Fail is set to hold its selection convention for the next Dail count early this year and Cllr Ryan believes he can help the party win back its traditional second seat in the rural constituency.
“I can confirm that I will be putting my name forward for Fianna Fail for the Dail in the next election,” confirmed Cllr Ryan to The Avondhu during the week.
