Community is coming to the forefront in Castletownroche as a relatively new group, Castletownroche Events, are bringing people together for some innovative seasonal events.
According to David Hogan, chairman of the new organisation which formed under the existing hall committee, the aim is to bring all local events under one umbrella and get more people involved in the local goings-on.
The first of these events for the village was the Halloween Horror Trail and scarecrow competition, which saw great buy-in.
