Phase 1 of a multi-million world class development at Moorepark Technology LTD (MTL) is to be completed this week.
The research and development pilot plant at Moorepark, set up in 1993, is already serving over 100 companies each year including several multi-national companies in the food industry, where they can develop and test new products and processes with the most up-to-date technology and equipment.
This new extended facility which is under construction will further upgrade the services available to companies, to a standard which is only seen in a handful of facilities around the world.
This facility will particularly compliment the dairy industry for the creation of infant formulas, nutritional ingredients, whey protein powder etc.
