THE Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is now considering a file into the death of a man who suffered third degree burns to 75% of his body after an horrific industrial incident in Cork.
Irish Independent sources have confirmed that the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has now concluded a two and a half year long investigation into the death of John Murphy (41).
Mr Murphy – who hailed from Watergrasshill, Co Cork – was badly injured following an industrial incident at the Stryker plant at Anngrove, Cork on April 18 2023. He was working for contractors Apelona at the time.
