Donating to the National Council of the Blind (NCBI) charity shop at the top of New Square in Mitchelstown, is now even easier as there will be a pop up bin for donations in Mitchelstown Credit Union for the next month.

The temporary blue bin is part of the ‘Bag it for Blindness’ campaign and people can donate books, clothes, household items, bric-a-brac, jewellery and other items while they are in the credit union.

Manager of the NCBI shop Isabel Reader, told The Avondhu that she would like to thank Joy White in Mitchelstown Credit Union for agreeing to have the pop up bin there for a month and she would encourage people to avail of it and drop in donations when they are in the credit union.

“This will make it even handier for people to donate to NCBI and if any other businesses in the town would like a pop up bin at their business, they can email amie.hynesfitzpatrick@ncbi.ie and all support would be greatly appreciated.

The NCBI shop at the top of the Square currently has a great range of summer wear and also some great summer books to pass away some hours of sunshine worshipping.
