Property Management at the Department of Education is due to meet with Fermoy Educate Together on the ground, regarding a local proposal made in a bid to resolve accommodation issues at the primary school.
In 2024, the local school launched a campaign seeking to adequately accommodate its pupils, as it was alleged at the time that Fermoy Educate Together National School (ETNS) was in a ‘massive crisis’ due to the lack of space. On Thursday night last, a meeting was held at which parents and stakeholders were updated on the current situation. At the time, news of the visit from the Property Management sector of the Department had not been confirmed.
