Joe Moran officially cut the tape to unveil the new Men’s Shed in Galbally on Sunday morning last.
Community chairman Charlie McCarthy, full of praise for all who helped bring the idea to fruition.
“Joe took the idea by the scruff of the neck and drove it on,” said Charlie before a packed gathering at the community hall grounds in Galbally.
“He is a great community man, you all know his wife Úna who keeps us all going, but Joe is equally as good, they are both great community people.”
