There was an air of expectancy this week as hairdressers and barbers opened their doors once again with the relaxing of Covid-19 restrictions on Monday.
Speaking with The Avondhu, Maureen Hannon of Option Hair Salon in Fermoy, said that she was ‘very happy’ to be reopening the salon to customers once again.
According to Maureen, the salon was faced with a busy week and lots of bookings as they re-opened on an 'appointment-only' based system.
“We’re very happy, that's for sure. It’s a great feeling to be back in business again,” she said.
