Mitchelstown Macra, in association with Partners in Learning (PiL), hosted the annual D’hillbillies Barn Dance in Gortnahown Farm (near Glocca Maura) last Saturday night.
The night itself was damp and misty, however, this failed to deter hundreds of revellers turning out for an event that featured a variety of musicians, on site catering and a very busy bar.
CROWD WELL CATERED FOR
Local man, Jimmy O’Donoghue got the ball rolling with a great set, he was followed by Up In Smoke, with DJ, Doc Martin, keeping the party going until the early hours.
