Uisce Éireann have once again been condemned, this time for delays and disruptions regarding works at the new housing development at Brigown in Mitchelstown.
The Avondhu understands that a number of complaints have been made with regard to noise, disruption and odour, following works by the utility company. Currently, Uisce Éireann are on site for what is hoped will be the final road closure to facilitate a waste water connection to the new estate ‘Fíor Uisce’, from Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11.
It is understood that this is the third road closure operated by Uisce Éireann to connect the new estate and, due to the delays in these works, the allocation of houses have now been delayed around 6 months.
