Cork day care centre receives donation from charity partner, Iceland Ireland

Iceland Douglas area manager Stephen Mulvey and store representatives presented Easter eggs to residents of Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland Bessboro Day Care Centre in Blackrock, Cork last week in the run up to the bank holiday weekend.

The residents greeted the wonderful donation with open arms and wide smiles.

Alzheimer Society of Ireland CEO Pat McLoughlin said: “We are delighted that our corporate partner Iceland Foods Ireland have decided to take part in this exciting initiative to visit three of our day care centres across the country and gift Easter eggs to people with dementia and our hard-working staff members.”

Visits to Clonsilla’s Failte day care centre in Dublin and Merlin Park centre in Galway also took place.
