Co-working space in jeopardy as Council miss deadline

Mitchelstown town centre will be without a co-working space as the academic year begins this September, as Cork County Council have missed the deadline to complete the work over the local library.

The council were awarded €500,000 for the project in early 2022 under the 2021 Town and Village Renewal Scheme.

These projects were given a deadline for completion of 12 to 18 months; this finishes at the end of this month.
